From 20th August to 27th August, PUBG Mobile has banned a total of 2,273,152 accounts and 1,424,854 devices for cheating with various methods.
Officials have published statistics of banned cheaters from last week on their social media handles.
PUBG Mobile has published the statistics of cheaters that got banned last week, and the developers have also hinted at new anti-cheat measures for the recently-revealed and upcoming New Era update.
The bans are distributed into several categories as follows:
X-Ray Vision – Cheaters who used stuff like wall-hack or any other cheat that allows them to spot enemies from a long distance. 32% were banned for using this.
Auto-Aim Hacks – The name says it all. The infamous hack was used by 27% of the total banned players.
Speed Hacks – If you have ever spotted a Flash in-game, they were one of the speed hackers. 12% were banned for using this hack.
Modification of Parameters – Area Damage modifications led to 4% bans and modified character models led to 3% of bans.
Others – Exploiting the game in any other way possible. 22% were banned for using this.
The New Anti-Hack System in PUBG Mobile:
PUBG Mobile recently upgraded their anti-cheat system by introducing a Peer-Review Mechanism that enhanced their ability to stop hackers from exploiting the spectator system.

Also, the new anti-cheat feature in PUBG Mobile was announced ahead of the New Era update on the official Discord server. This anti-cheat measure is called Video Review Station.
With this system, players will be able to decide whether the reported player in the video is hacking or not. If the maximum number of reviews point to the player as guilty, then the footage will be reviewed by the officials for further verification.
The review station will operate in seven steps:
A player is reported for suspicious activity by others in-game or within the community.
A battle replay video from the suspicious player's perspective gets generated.
The video is randomly distributed to multiple player investigators.
These investigators analyze the video.
A majority confirms that the video contains evidence of cheating.
The official PUBG Mobile team then reviews the violation.
The player, if found cheating, is permanently suspended from the game.
PUBG Mobile has been striving to create a better platform of fair-play for a long time and introduced several programs since the last year. The game is set to launch their big update on 8th September which is going to be a New Era for them. Along with various enhancements and new additions like Erangel 2.0, the anti-cheating measures are picking up the pace as well.
The game is also going to include a Safety Observation Period to further reduce the hacking cases in which the player getting this ban will have to play the game under safety observation for a period of time. During this Ban, players who are attempting to cheat will not be matched with other players who are not under safety observation, their earnings from matches and battle stats will not be recorded, they will be unable to team-up or spectate matches, and they will only be able to play limited game modes until the observation period ends. Don't use any Hack on your main account until the new PUBG Mobile (v1.0) updates. Observe how serious this matter is as they have already banned over 2 Million users including those SWARG Players (used to be #1 Asia Season 14 Squad Conquerer ). whether the other players are getting any kind of ban or not along with the possible reasons so that you keep your account safe.
